At the Men’s Wearhouse in the St. Johns Town Center, Helmuth and nine other veterans who suffered duty-related wounds overseas on or after Sept. 11, 2001, recently received their free suits.

“It helps me get ready for the future, to get ready for the work field and start my foundation,” he said.
One of the program sponsors, Haven Hospice, purchased the suits at a discount from Men’s Wearhouse. Another sponsor, Dignity U Wear, provided shirts and ties.

“A lot of people in our organization have a special place in their hearts for veterans,” said Bill Sharrett, vice president of business development for Haven Hospice.
