Sweet Frog the fast-growing chain of frozen yogurt shops, is opening a location in Jacksonville Town Center.
Like other Jacksonville-area frozen yogurt shops, Sweet Frog uses the weigh-and-pay model in which customers draw their own frozen yogurt from self-service machines and customize their dessert, choosing from dozens of fruits, candies, cookies and more at a toppings bar.
At Sweet Frog, the price is 45 cents per ounce. (And unlike some frozen yogurt shops, Sweet Frog offers two sizes of cups.)
The St. Johns Town Center shop — scheduled to open in the coming days in the Publix-anchored St. Johns Town Center North. At 1,540 square feet, the store will have 8 frozen yogurt machines, dispensing out 16 flavors of frozen yogurt. And the frozen yogurt toppings bar is bigger, offering a whopping 100 options.
But that’s just the beginning — at least four more of the shops are already in the works. Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt opened in Riverside and Jacksonville Beach recently. You can find Sweet Frog Riverside at:
The Frozen yogurt location at 1661 Riverside Avenue is in the former Mochi Frozen Yogurt spot between Einstein Bros. Bagels and Subway.
10 flavors, including Cappuccino, Chocolate, Dulce De Leche, and Mango and those will switch in and out from among more than 50 flavors.
