2014 Holiday Spectacular at Jacksonville Town Center

Bells will be ringin’ this year at St. Johns Town Center in celebration of the 9th annual Holiday Spectacular event, headlined by Country Music Star Joe Nichols, on Saturday, November 15. Holiday shoppers, families and visitors are invited to celebrate the reason for the season with an action-packed day of free, family fun!

During this joyous holiday celebration in Jacksonville Town center, guests will enjoy free holiday festivities and entertainment, topped off with a tree lighting and evening fireworks show. Additionally, St. Johns Town Center retailers will offer holiday shopping opportunities, in-store promotions and specials throughout the weekend.

The event kicks off at 2 p.m. with family-friendly activities including stilt walkers, costumed characters, balloonists, holiday-themed photo opportunities and more.

Main Stage entertainment begins at 6 p.m. with a dynamic holiday performances. The Main Stage is located in the Town Green in front of Maggiano’s Little Italy on Midtown Parkway.

Four-time Grammy nominee and country music star Joe Nichols will light up the night at St. Johns Town Center with his smooth voice and chart-topping music. He recently earned his sixth career #1, “Yeah,” which held the top spot on the Billboard Country Airplay chart for three consecutive weeks. One of country music’s most praised traditional country artists, Nichols has six #1 hits and eight Top 10 singles to his credit including chart-toppers like “Brokenheartsville,” “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off,” and “Gimme That Girl.” The star has earned multiple RIAA platinum and gold certifications for his hit album and singles, and has won every “best new artist” award available in the field of country music.

For Holiday Spectacular’s grand finale, Santa will lead the crowd in an official countdown to light the dazzling 32-foot tree and kick off an energetic fireworks finale at 8 p.m. Santa will then be available at the Santa House near Dick’s Sporting Goods to hear holiday wish lists.
