Cruisers Grill is opening a fourth location at Tinseltown on the Southside that will employ about 40 people.
The newest location, which will be in 3,476 square feet of space formerly occupied by the Brass Monkey Tapas Bar at 9734 Deerlake Court, is expected to open May 15.

The first Cruisers opened in Jacksonville Beach at 319 S. 23rd Avenue in 1996. Local businessman Bobby Handmaker bought the restaurant in 2007 and has since opened two additional restaurants in St. Augustine at 3 St. George St. and in Jacksonville at 5613 San Jose Blvd.

Chick-Fil-A MUST Be Hurting; Gee thanks Zaxbys and Pollo Tropical!

A Zaxbys Fried Chicken and Salads and Pollo Tropical opened at the Markets at Jacksonville Town Center just before Thanksgiving. Chick-fil-a at Jacksonville Town Center and near Tinseltown Must be thrilled.

Libretto’s Pizzeria also recently opened is opens at 11am everyday and closes:

• midnight Sunday through Wednesday
• 2 a.m. Thursday
• 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Whisky River and BlackFinn opened earlier in 2010 in the Markets section of  Town Center.
